Dante’s Peak: Formulaic yet amusing catastrophe film where we see a scientist from the U.S. Geological Study who hangs around a mountainside town in Washington just beside a volcano that he feels is going to blow at some second. Rebel Rousers: Designer Mitchell isn’t gratified while Dem keeps competing to see who can win over Mitchell’s pregnant lady friend. Nicholson, decked out in shocking striped slacks, robs the show in this entertaining time tablet. This movie was filmed in 1967.
