Though Sony Ericsson did not enter the smartphone market from a position of strength or reverence, they have quickly turned the tables by releasing a line of Android phones that integrates impressive design with top notch function. The Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 was the first of the Android releases that established their rightful place in the market, which was followed by two miniature versions – the X10 Mini and the X10 Mini Pro, both of which owned their rightful place in the Android market. Sony Ericsson is now filling the gap that existed between the super powerful full size X10 and the Mini versions with the release of their new Xperia X8, though its features and size are more similar to the X10.
