One of God’s most important lessons to us is relayed in the story of David and Goliath found in the Old Testament. This tale has been told over and over again in Bible studies or as a bed time story to teach people from a young age that faith in God can get them through any situation, no matter how overwhelming it may seem. With God as our guide we can handle anything that faces us.

For a number of reasons, not the least of which is the Middle East crisis, there has recently been an upswing in interest in the matter of the Rapture of the Church.

There is currently an increased interest in the subject of the Rapture of the Church for a variety of reasons, especially the current developments in the Middle East.

It took Jesus only a few minutes to preach the Sermon on the Mount. Nevertheless, it has had more influence than any other sermon ever preached. It has been translated into more languages than any other work in the history of mankind. The Sermon on the Mount can be found in the Gospel of Matthew, chapters five through seven.

The simplest way to share the Gospel with the people in Asia is by using the resources already in the country, including their own people, and their natives. The Gospel for Asia (GFA) can be described as a Christian organization founded by KP Yohannan. Yohannan was born in South Asia, which is the reason the Gospel for Asia concentrates all its efforts on sharing glad tidings in that area.

Being crucified, or put up to die on perpendicular wooden planks, was the harshest sentence in Roman days. This form of death was very painful, and the process went on for a very long time.

Faithful Christians typically share five traditions that generate a worldview that shapes the nature of their beliefs. This worldview may also contain characteristics that other people perceive as factors which, in fact, define a person as a Christian. The relentless obligations both at the office and home can leave little time for meditation on scripture and prayer in the daily routine. Given that Christians are exhorted to pray continually and meditate on scripture night and day, a dilemma arises that will not go away. Rather than reflecting a shortcoming, this could simply be a sign the Holy Spirit is calling individuals into the presence of their Lord and Father. No segment of life is exempt from God’s presence, and this includes the square walls of the office cubicle. With some discipline and creativity, a workstation can become a setting for prayer and devotionals, and without disrupting the work plans for the day.
