Camping is carried out outdoors as a recreational activity. The people who participate in camping are called campers. They leave their hectic life, mostly in urban areas where they reside and work. They travel during vacations uninhabited or less inhabited regions where nature is in abundance and in full glory. These campers then set up camps for several days and nights. The sites where they stay may be a designated campsite such as national parks. They may be camp grounds that are privately owned. Or the place may simply be natural areas that are publicly owned. These camp sites may have cabins along with basic facilities. Some camp sites may even sport luxurious facilities with all the trappings of modern life while some other camp sites have rudimentary or primitive structures. Some nature sites may not have any shelter or facilities at all. The campers will simply have to live it out with what they have carried with them. They will have to live and experience all the elements of nature.
