As we can all see, the world around us is affected by constant changes. This is resulting in evolution and in the fact that all new trends come to influence even the most insignificant aspects of our lives. People’s perception of the world they inhabit, just like times, is altered too. We tend to pay more attention to important issues such as the environment and climate change. Therefore, our actions reflect a newly born desire of making a contribution and help protecting our planet.

The space your house offers you might cease to satisfy your needs at a certain moment. Maybe that moment coincides with the arrival of a new member in your family, when your office becomes the baby’s room; or maybe you want to use your gym bicycle somewhere else than your living-room; there is also the situation when you dream of having your tea or coffee in a charming quiet place.

Redecorating involves a very elaborate organization of your project. It begins with buying the necessary tools, then choosing the color of the paint, deciding whether you need water resistant paint or non-toxic paint for your childrens room.

When it comes to improving our homes we are sometimes brave enough to choose to paint their walls ourselves. Professionals are more likely to get the job finished in short time and with better results, but doing it is accessible to us once we have time and a little skill.

TV commercials and banners drive us more and more toward buying the things we need instead of trying to make them on our own. The lack of time is also a reason to go shopping instead of wasting time for manufacturing what we need. A working mother wont spend hours in the kitchen before her childrens birthday parties. Instead she will call the caterer, or buy fast food and a nice cake. Your granny wont miss her soap-opera to knit socks. She can buy them at the shop. The decorator will not start making paint, but rather run to the paint-store to buy whatever he needs.
